Northpower's Home Energy Education programme has delivered potential savings worth more than $2.5 million annually to struggling households in Whangārei and Kaipara. In the past two years more than 2,686 tailored home assessments have been conducted and more than 33,000 energy-saving products distributed, saving households on average $763 per year. Northpower says this transformative programme not only alleviates financial strain but also fosters crucial conversations about sustainable energy practices.
