Electricity Networks Aotearoa (ENA)

Electricity Networks Aotearoa (ENA) represents all the lines companies that deliver electricity across Aotearoa.

Lines companies play a critical role in helping Aotearoa meet its climate change goals and reach a net carbon zero by 2050. And they are central in making sure that all New Zealanders have reliable and affordable electricity 24/7.

ENA collaborates with the whole energy sector to help to deliver reliable, affordable, low-carbon electricity.

Together, the distribution sector:

• employs over 7,800 people at 29 lines companies across Aotearoa
• delivers energy to more than two million homes and businesses
• has invested $6.2 billion in network assets in the last five years
• was able to keep people fully connected 99.9% of the time.

At ENA, what we care about most is climate, customers and collaboration.
