Z implemented activities, processes and tools to support staff during COVID–19.
Identifying that Covid-19 would add pressure and test the mental well-being of its people, Z Energy set an objective that its “people leave the pandemic with a greater understanding of their own wellbeing, enhanced connection with their colleagues and an increased awareness of how they can influence their own wellbeing.”
The response from staff was overwhelming. Well-being, measured by monthly Peakon surveys, increased steadily and now places Z in the top 10 per cent of companies for engagement on a global scale.
