New Zealand Energy Excellence Awards 2022
Aurora Energy worked with contracting partners and stakeholders to deliver an innovative solution to upgrading ageing infrastructure on the Otago Peninsula.
The project has seen two new 11kV submarine cables with 350-amp capacity installed to replace a 74-year-old 150-amp submarine cable, six lattice towers and overhead conductor.
The Harbour Crossing project demonstrated a commitment to finding the best solution for Aurora Energy's customers, the safest option for the community and one that would provide the most secure long-term supply.
