Low Carbon Future Award
New Zealand Energy Excellence Awards 2019
The Meridian Electric Vehicle Business Fleet initiative saw orange turn to green in the last two years as we launched full speed into an electric journey to low carbon. By building on data, research and the experience of our fleet conversion, we created a scalable low carbon fleet solution that we're now supporting others to take. While the present - day impacts of this low carbon initiative are clear, it's the future we're most excited about. It can only happen if we do it together but with partners like EECA, Drive Electric and many more; Meridian Energy is proud to be accelerating the pace of change in New Zealand.
