New Zealand Energy Excellence Awards 2022
Funding from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment in April 2021 to tackle energy hardship saw Ecobulb develop a unique software platform to undertake in-home and on-line energy assessments in the King Country. In less than a year it had combined this software platform with commercial, human and process innovations to deliver 2289 energy assessments and $1.34 million a year in savings on power bills to King Country homes.
The company's aim is to significantly reduce energy hardship by rolling this out across the country to save New Zealanders $1 billion per year on their power bills.
