Large Energy User Initiative of the Year
New Zealand Energy Excellence Awards 2021
The initiative began with SAFED NZ training for our drivers and the development of fuel efficiency reporting for a major client.
With the success of the initial project we were eager to take a quantum leap forward in reducing our carbon footprint. We undertook a holistic review of our transport operations including truck design, maintenance, tipping solutions, commercial viability and employee culture. In 20 months, we've saved 702 tonnes of carbon output through fuel savings techniques and engineering initiatives. We have a vision of continuous improvement and to be industry leaders in transport sustainability.
