Auckland Transport's Low Emission Bus Roadmap is one of the most impactful acts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and build a safe, innovative and sustainable transport for a beautiful city.
It supports the C40 Fossil Fuel Free Streets Declaration signed by Mayor Phil Goff and helps achieve goals of the Auckland Climate Action Plan.
The Roadmap is leading with an accelerated transformation with the understanding of best available technology through trials and innovative ways to reduce capital costs for operators through various studies along the way to support the vision of zero emissions (by tailpipe) by 2030.
